Hi, I’m Chiswick Mum
-
I'm passionate about local life and making the most of living here, and of this great city that we live in.
London is such a great place to be a parent - and here in the leafy edge of the big smoke I feel really blessed to spend my days living, loving and parenting.
I live with my wonderful seven-year-old Chiswick Boy, and his dad Chiswick Daddy. Together we have adventures out and about, peppered with crafting and pyjamas days.
I don't get it right all the time. I work outside the home four days a week and the first thing to get ditched is generally the housework.

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…
Well the Christmas feeling has being ramping up in the Chiswick Mum household. I wrote recently about how I was trying to reclaim my Christmas mojo and how faking it 'til you make it was the way to go. Since … Continue reading
Settling into winter – from flexible working to date nights
I'm writing this in Maison Blanc, nestled in the window, watching people bustling through the rain down the street. Fridays are my day for catching up on blogging and having a bit of respite from the hamster wheel that … Continue reading

That was the Chiswick week that was – changing seasons and a creative life with children
Well another week has gone by and now we seem to be firmly in winter. I know that winter doesn't officially start until 1 December (according to the Met Office). But it does feel like winter doesn't it? The cat … Continue reading
Six things I learnt last week
It's the little things that make up a life. When I started my blog I started how lots of people do really – wanting to in some way capture the little things that we do as a family. I used … Continue reading

Four big things I learnt last week – and six little ones.
– One: I want to keep the fun with blogging and remember why I started this blog – to capture the small family moments that make up a life and capture the best things that make up living in Chiswick … Continue reading

Four things I learnt last week
I started writing this on Monday, and started off by saying that I was glad that I'd stuck to getting these round ups out on a Monday. As I write this sentence it's already Thursday! And as I hit publish, … Continue reading →
